Music with roots
dragon-i is built on music with roots.
The sound moves through house, disco, jazz-funk, soul, Latin jazz, R&B and old-school hip-hop. Curated by a like-minded collective of local selectors, the dragon-i groove carries dance music from era to era — with global names dropping in to spark the room, alongside a passionate family of resident DJs.
Music is not background here.
It is the heartbeat of the house.

115 Listening Room
The 115 Listening Room runs on a custom handmade sound system developed with Berlin-based boutique audio brand H.A.N.D. HIFI, in collaboration with Johnny Hiller, who led the acoustics and system design for dragon-i.
Expect an immersive, warm audiophile experience, meticulously tuned for multi-genre vinyl playback.
Built from a collection of more than 15,000 records, the room carries music from the 70s and 80s through disco, Japanese jazz-funk, Latin jazz, reggae, old-school hip-hop and R&B. Shaped by Gilbert’s early collecting years in Toronto at Star Sound and blended with Johnny Hiller’s personal collection, 115 is a starship for music lovers.
What happens here: after-dinner hangouts, vinyl and digital DJ sessions, musician and artist performances, fireside chats with tastemakers, contemporary art, mural installations and cultural programming.
d-i
The re-innovated original dragon-i room returns with a back-to-basics feeling.
Built around the roots of New York disco house, d-i carries a relevant spectrum of music ranging from house, deep house and tech house to melodic and underground moments.
The room features an upgraded d&b system, with additional speakers flown above the dance floor to deliver focused, high-impact sound for dancers and guests alike. Bespoke hi-fi speakers and dedicated DJ monitors are integrated into the room, expanding the sonic range and precision of the space.
What happens here: spontaneous encounters, guest performances, unofficial dance floors and the kind of moments that cannot be planned.
